Special: Lower Shaw Farm Story In October and November 2006 Lower Shaw Farm was threatened with closure when council plans to sell the land were revealed. A vigourous campaign and protests in support of Lower Shaw Farm by a wide spectrum of local people and groups led the Conservative controlled council to back down, but the long term future of the farm is still unknown.
